After the Umbro shorts fashion trend died out in the early 90's, two great things resulted from the company's collapse: 1) two of the layed off workers created a advertising agency and gave me a job and 2) two other former Umbro people got the idea to create a custom soccer uniform company. As a result of these two companies being created, the agency took over the marketing and advertising for Select.

The website became an indispensable tool for the sales reps as they went out into the field allowing anyone to customize the entire company's what with their customer's team colors. in addition it became a source of inspiration for team coaches, players and parents alike as they got to be a part of the team's look.
